Training > DOT Required Education
The US Department of Transportation requires that nearly 10 million people per year are educated and tested on drug and alcohol issues. This affects all transportation employers, safety-sensitive transportation employees, and service agents. The DOT requires this training to ensure that everyone involved with DOT regulated industries is fully educated and always performs their job functions in the safest way possible.
In order to meet this need, TMHC Services, Inc. has created training modules that meet all DOT requirements and provides participants with the mandated certification upon successful completion of the training session. Our training is provided by a certified, professional trainer. We carefully monitor state and federal requirements as well as the most up-to-date information available regarding DOT regulated industries to ensure that our programs are always compliant and relevant.
DOT Collector Training
According to the Federal Department of Transportation a collector is any person who instructs or assists employees at a collection site, makes initial inspections of provided specimens and who starts and completes the Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Form (CCF). Collectors maintain the credibility and integrity of the test and are the only people who have face to face contact with employees during the process. With these considerations in mind TMHC Services, Inc. has created a training program designed specifically for this unique role.
DOT Collector training requires hands-on proficiency demonstrations; therefore these sessions are required to be in person only. Training sessions can be completed in one of our free training rooms or on-site. Upon successful completion of your training session you will receive a certificate showing that you meet all federal, state and local requirements. Please take a moment to fill out our Registration Information Form if you are interested in these training sessions.
