FINANCIAL and LEGAL SERVICES
With the
increasing complexity of marriage, custody/child support issues, elder
care, financial, credit and tax related issues, in addition to
climbing
debt and financial security issues, an outstanding 90%
of the population have a need for financial or legal services.
As
an added EAP benefit, employees receive professional and timely advice
for many types of legal and financial matters including:
Employees
receive an initial consultation, phone or face-to-face visit, per each
legal or financial issue at no charge. If an employee needs continued
representation and wishes to retain a participating professional’s
services, the employee will be provided with a preferred rate
reduction of 25% off that professional’s normal hourly service rates.
These face-to-face visits and/or phone consultations for legal and
financial assistance are in addition to the visits previously
discussed.
Employees
will have unlimited access to the program’s core web site which
contains information on more than 1,000 legal/financial topics and
over 1,200 legal/financial forms. The online financial and legal
libraries contain hundreds of professionally written articles on a
wide variety of topics, written by legal and financial professionals.
Many of these subjects are available in Real Audio.
In
addition, on the online site, employees will find some of the highest
quality tools and calculators developed by financial and legal
experts. There are over forty-five financial calculators available,
including a savings including a savings goal calculator, retirement
planning calculator and home or car affordability calculator.
