EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE
PROGRAMS
TMHC
Services, Inc.’s Employee Assistance Programs are offered to promote a
safe, healthy, and efficient work and home environment for all
employees and their immediate family members. The tangible benefits of
establishing an Employee Assistance Program for employers can include
a reduction in absenteeism, overall healthcare costs, workplace
accidents, retraining costs, and lost productivity; and for employees
can include improving their quality of life at work and home.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, lost productivity due to
behavioral illness costs more than $300 billion each year. Further,
the U.S. Department of Labor reports that employers generally find
that savings range from $5 to $16 for every dollar invested in an EAP.
Our Employee
Assistance Program (EAP) services include phone calls (brief
crisis intervention, assessment, and referral), face-to-face visits,
and financial/legal assistance for employees and their families on
many issues including personal problems, depression, job stress,
marital and relationship issues, harassment, alcohol/substance abuse,
separation and loss, balancing work and family, and problem gambling.
